Ohakune Lodge is all about affordable, comfortable accommodation where families and groups can relax and enjoy being together.
We're not fancy, and that's part of the charm! The lodge is clean, tidy and homely, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. It's the sort of place where kids can be kids.
The large, well-equipped kitchen has plenty of room for several people to prepare meals together, and the dining table seats all 18 guests — perfect for shared meals, stories and a bit of laughter. Afterwards, there's room to spread out in the lounge, with comfy couches and quiet corners for reading, playing games, crafting or simply putting your feet up.
You'll need to bring your own food and linen, including sheets, pillowcases and towels, although basic tea and coffee supplies are provided.
There's plenty of off-street parking for the whole group, and with Ohakune township and the supermarket close by, picking up extra supplies is easy.
Whether you're gathering the extended family, organising a club weekend or heading away with friends, Ohakune Lodge is a welcoming, practical base for spending time together.

Summer Rates
November - June
$280 per night
For up to 8 guests
+$20 per additional guest per night (maximum 18 guests)
Winter Rates
July - October
$450 per night
For up to 8 guests
+$45 per additional guest per night (maximum 18 guests)
CLEANING FEE
A one off cleaning fee of $150 applies to all bookings
STAY LENGTH
Two-night stays are preferred, but one-night bookings may be available
Good to Know
Exclusive Use – You'll have the whole lodge to yourselves, with room for up to 18 guests.
Well-Equipped Kitchen – Our large kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals for your group, with plenty of room for several people to cook together.
Self-Catered – Bring your own food, although basic tea and coffee supplies are provided.
Plenty of Parking – There's lots of off-street parking, with room for the whole group's vehicles.
Contactless Entry – No need to arrange a key collection. We'll provide access instructions before your arrival so you can settle in at your own pace.
Bring Your Own Linen – Please bring sheets, pillowcases and towels, or sleeping bags and pillowcases. This helps us keep our accommodation affordable.
Cleaning Fee – A one-off $150 cleaning fee applies to all bookings.
Stay Length – Two-night stays are preferred, but one-night bookings may be available.
Check-in & Check-out – We'll confirm arrival and departure arrangements when you book.
Subject to Availability – Whole-lodge bookings are available on selected dates.

Midweek & Group Stays
Ohakune Lodge is owned and operated by a not-for-profit alpine club, and we love making the lodge available to other groups and organisations.
We offer special rates for schools, clubs and other not-for-profit organisations, and may also be able to offer discounted rates for midweek stays and longer bookings.
